A modified proposal for Revive Prep Charter School (K-8) was approved yesterday by the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board. Originally authorized by the board in 2018, Revive Prep had received two extensions since that time prior to the updated application made earlier this spring. Operated by RePublic Charter Schools, which runs three other charter schools in Jackson, Revive will open in North Jackson in the 2022-2023 school year. In its first year, it plans to serve 120 students in kindergarten and 120 students in grade 5.
