RePublic Schools, based in Nashville, yesterday received approval by the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board to open Revive Prep, serving grades K-8, and RePublic High School, serving grades 9-12, both in Jackson. RePublic already operates three charter schools in the city. The two new schools are slated to open for the 2020-2021 school year. The board rejected the application of MS Delta Academies, which sought approval to open a charter middle school in Leflore County.
